DGK Design Studio has a long history in the furniture manufacturing and restoration arena. It is this history along with a passion for design that has lead us to concentrate on designing and creating individual commissions.

Restoring precious and often priceless antiques has built a wide set of skills allowing us to create wonderful rocking horses and luxury pet beds that will become the antiques and family heirlooms of the future.

Experience has has shown that quality counts and we are passionate about the high standards we work to with all of our horses hand carved following the styles of the best nineteenth-century craftsmen including F H Ayres and G & J Lines. Our dapple greys are finished in the traditional way with many coats of Gesso before painting to ensure faithful reproduction of the originals.

Your heirloom should be individually yours and all our products are made to order as one off commissions so you can be assured that yours will be truly unique.

Our four poster pet beds are hand made and can be produced in most timbers. We can customise the design to suit your individual requirements and size.

All our horses professionally made in our UK design studio from scratch using selected timbers from managed and sustainable sources. We do not stock or endorse any of the mass produced replicas from such places as Indonesia, Thailand, and Eastern Europe. They are truly unique to us.
